Remaining counties applying
to reopen all construction

As you may know, most counties have received approval to reopen to “Phase-2” status, meaning construction is fully open in those counties.
The remaining counties are in varying stages of applying for either Phase-2 status or a modified status known as Phase 1.5. Once a county is approved for either Phase 2 or the modified status, construction will be fully open in those counties.

Keep in mind that once a county applies for the Phase-2 or modified status, it will still be up to Secretary of Health John Wieseman to approve that application. It is anticipated that more counties will be approved within the next several days. Those counties seeking updated status are Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King, Pierce, Chelan, Okanogan, Douglas, Yakima, Benton, Franklin and Clark. Click here for a map indicating the status of all counties.

AGC members with projects in the remaining counties are strongly encouraged to be ready for the restart of construction by incorporating COVID-19 transmission and prevention into all job-hazard analyses (JHAs) and pre-task safety planning for all aspects of the work.
